This woodland teepee is an old stand-by that my sister & I used to make in the summertime: A Teepee of Branches. I wanted to re-create this with my kids. There's more! Click "Read More" for Instructions ↓↓↓ This is very simple to do. We were kids when we first constructed it, so anyone can do it-- in any age group! Enlist some helpers & set your sights on a woodland adventure. Collect some long boughs* and lean the branches against each other to form a triangular shape. Leave an opening for the doorway. [see image below] After you have placed approximately twenty sturdy sticks to form the base of the structure, you are ready to cover with greenery. This will serve as a barrier against rain and also keeps the interior space cool in the hot sun.
