Someone wanted to get a truckload of bananas so we could make Killa Nilla Banana Pie and  The Best Banana Bread Ever!! And no, none of us like bananas- but we all dream about  those desserts.

It’s summer, and HOT, so I 86’d the banana bread idea.

We hit up our old standby banana pie recipe, Killa Nilla pie. Check it out below. It’s a tried & true recipe, where the proof really is in the pudding. This recipe yields two pies, but within a few hours- only one pie will be left.

Ingredients:
4 Golden Yellow Bananas
Box of Nilla Wafers
1 Vanilla Pudding
1 Banana Pudding
Whipped Cream [optional, but Highly Recommended]

Prepare the puddings into the same bowl according to 'pie instructions' on box. Place one layer of Nilla Wafers onto bottom of pie dish. Slice bananas. Place slices over cookies, creating another layer. Scoop half of the pudding onto the ingredients, taking care to cover all banana slices. Repeat. Add whipped cream & you’re done!

Sidenote:
Here’s the great thing about this pie: even little kids can make this entire thing by themselves (for real). Just give them a butter knife to slice the bananas, and Voila!
