Killa Nilla Banana Pie

Yesterday was April Fools Day & due to circumstances, I had a plethora of bananas. So what to do with bunches of a monkey's favorite treat? Make Killa Nilla Banana Pie, of course¡¡ or you can make The Best Banana Bread Ever!!

But wait- There's More! Click 'Read More' to get the play-by-play...         ↓↓↓
I searched for the perfect recipe & they seemed too complex for what I was going for. So here goes a tried & true recipe, where the proof really is in the pudding, or lack thereof, because as of 4 minutes ago, both pies are officially GONE. One was finished by yesterday afternoon, while the second one didn't even make it to lunchtime today.

Ingredients:
4 Golden Yellow Bananas
Box of Nilla Wafers
1 Vanilla Pudding
1 Banana Pudding
Whipped Cream [optional, but Highly Recommended]
Prepare the puddings into the same bowl according to 'pie instructions' on box. Place one layer of Nilla Wafers onto bottom of pie dish. Slice bananas. Place slices over cookies, creating another layer. Scoop half of the pudding onto the ingredients, taking care to cover all banana slices. Repeat. Then add whipped cream & you are done!

If you want two pies, as pictured above, don't create a double-decker pie, instead just grab another pie dish and voila! I have made both & I think I may like the One Two punch! of two separate pies better.

Sidenote: A variation I intend to try out next time is Nilla Wafers first, then pudding, then banana slices. So go for it & definitely let me know how it turns out!
