6 Pipe Cleaners [green preferred]
One Bunch of Fake Flowers [any variety, daisies pictured]
Hot Glue Gun & Clear Glue Sticks
The First of May is traditionally a time to celebrate the advent of Spring. Warmer weather, the scent of freshly-cut lawns, and dandelions! are welcomed into our lives, leaving the chilly winds of Winter a distant memory. Creating daisy-chain crowns are a lovely way to commemorate the day and spend time together all in one fell swoop. Excellent accessory for everyday, a soiree, or at Lolla. Ingredients: 6 Pipe Cleaners [green preferred] One Bunch of Fake Flowers [any variety, daisies pictured] Hot Glue Gun & Clear Glue Sticks Pull all of the flowers from their stems. Remove the leaves also if you wish to use them. Cut all the pipe cleaners in half. Adjust the quantity if the crown needs to be larger or smaller. Plug in your glue gun. Choose one pipe cleaner and bend into a fish shape. [pictured above] Close the tail by twisting it together, then by looping it inward onto itself. Choose another color and repeat process until desired length is reached. Loop the final stem around the first to complete the circle. Annie, get your gun, and start placing the flowers on the chain at regular intervals. One small glob of glue should do the trick. Allow to cool completely or you will have a crown that is permanently affixed onto a little head which would most likely lead to an unflattering haircut. Now you have a sweet thing for your sweet thang.
